What are some iconic landmarks of Nepal and Bhutan?

For a project, I need an example of an iconic Nepal and Bhutan landmark, not Mt. Everest or something, but a building that expresses the cultural characteristics of the country. But it can also be a statue or something.

I’m a Nepalese, and I’l tell you about few of the most famous landmarks in Nepal.

Pashupatinath Temple and Budhanilkantha Temple(Sleeping God) (Hindu)
Swoyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and Bouddhanath Stupa (Buddhist)
Basantpur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square (Historic)

and lots and lots of temples, there is at least a temple every 50 metres in Kathmandu, the capital. =]

Despite those, let me tell you of a place in between huge mountains called Gosaikunda, where there is a pond, which is always warm (the water has never cooled down) and a flame, that never extinguishes.
